How much time does a home inspection take?
Home inspections generally take 2.5-3.5 hours depending on home size, age, and problems found.
Should we meet you there?
Yes, I want my clients present. This way, if you have any questions on any part of the inspection, I can
give you the answers right away and I am able to show you any problems that I find. All questions are
strongly encouraged.
How long will it take to get a report of your findings?
My report is narrative, hand written and issued at the end of the inspection. Each category has it's own
page (electrical, heating, etc.) so problems are found quickly without having to read through boiler
plate paragraphs that have nothing to do with your property.
My experience has shown that most clients need this report to continue the flow of the transaction. All
results (except radon and water quality testing) are in writing and yours at the end of the inspection.
